'A Conservative Whip', 1871. Edward Bootle-Wilbraham, 2nd Baron Skelmersdale (1837-1898) was a British politician who served as Conservative Chief Whip in the House of Lords from c1870-1885. In 1880 he was created Earl Lathom. A print from Vanity Fair, 15 July 1871.
