Grand Dukes Alexander Alexandrovich and Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia, c1870-c1875(?). The future Tsar Alexander III (1845-1894) (top right) with his younger brother, Grand Duke Vladimir (1847-1909) (left). Also present are their cousins, Nicholas Maxilimianovich (1843-1891) and Sergei Maximilianovich (1849-1877) of Leuchtenberg. The second son of Tsar Alexander II, Alexander reigned as Emperor of Russia from 14 March 1881 until his death. He was succeeded by his eldest son, Nicholas II. Found in the collection of the Russian State Film and Photo Archive, Krasnogorsk.
