Grand Duke Nicholas Mikhailovich of Russia, 1865. Grand Duke Nicholas (1859-1919) was the eldest son of Grand Duke Michael Nikolaevich, the fourth son of Tsar Nicholas I. He was a cousin of Tsar Alexander III. Nicholas was murdered, together with his brother, George, and their cousins, Grand Dukes Paul and Dimitri, by the Bolsheviks after the Russian Revolution. Found in the collection of the Russian State Film and Photo Archive, Krasnogorsk.
