Red Army men confiscating church treasures of the Simonov monastery, Moscow, USSR, 1925. The monastery was founded in 1370. The Bolsheviks closed it in 1923 and it was later demolished to make way for a car factory. Found in the collection of the State Museum of the Political History of Russia, St Petersburg.
