People by Ale's Stones, Kåseberga, Scania, Sweden. Ale's Stones (Ales stenar) is a megalithic monument consisting of 59 boulders laid out in the form of a ship. According to local folklore, it is the burial place of a legendary king named Ale. The monument is thought to date from around 600 AD.
