Carpenters' Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, 1914. Vintage postcard showing the exterior of Carpenters' Hall, a two storey, red brick building in the Georgian style. Carpenters' Hall was built in 1773 by the Carpenters' Company of the City and County of Philadelphia, who still own the building today. It was an important meeting place in the early history of the United States, hosting the First Continental Congress of the United Colonies of North America in 1774.
