Maria Lilina, Russian actress, 1910s. Maria Lilina (1866-1943) was the wife of the theatre director Constantin Stanislavski, co-founder of the Moscow Art Theatre. They married in 1889 after starring together in a production of Friedrich Schiller's play Intrigue and Love. Found in the collection of the Russian State Film and Photo Archive, Krasnogorsk.
