Constantin Stanislavski, Russian acor and theatre director, 1910s. Stanislavski (1863-1938) co-founded the Moscow Art Theatre with Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko in 1898. His method of acting was hugely influential and has remained central in the training of mainstream European and American performance. Found in the collection of the Russian State Film and Photo Archive, Krasnogorsk.
