Adolf Hitler visiting Landsberg fortress, Germany, 1934. Hitler (1889-1945) was imprisoned for 8 months at Landsberg for his part in the failed Munich Beer Hall Putsch of 9 November 1923. The prison was later used to incarcerate and execute prisoners convicted of war crimes after the end of World War II. A print from Adolf Hitler.
