Milling district, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, 1915. Vintage postcard showing a view of the milling district, St Anthony Falls on the Mississippi, the Stone Arch Bridge and the city skyline. Minneapolis was a centre of flour manufacturing, milling grain from the farms of the Great Plains. By 1905 the city was producing 10 % of the country's flour.
