Vintage postcard showing the exterior of the Syndicate Building, the shop front of the Minneapolis Dry Goods Co and the surrounding streets. Pedestrians, cars, horse-drawn vehicles and a streetcar are on the street. The Syndicate Building was built in 1883 by a group of local businessmen. It later became the premises of JC Penney but was demolished in 1989.
