Lady's headdress, 14th century, (1910). Fashion from the reign of Richard II (1377-1399). The reticulated and richly-jewelled headdress is worn with a cote-hardi of purple silk, a super cote-hardi of fur-lined embossed velvet, and a green velvet cloak, edged with ermine and fastened by a morse across the chest.
