MV 'Kalakala', Puget Sound ferry, Seattle, Washington, USA, 1935. Vintage linen postcard showing the streamlined ferry sailing on Puget Sound. The 'Kalakala' operated in Puget Sound from 1935 until 1967. The vessel had a unique streamlined superstructure and Art Deco styling. At the 1962 World's Fair held at Seattle she was voted the second most popular attraction after the Space Needle.
