The Smith Tower, Seattle, Washington, USA, 1928. Vintage postcard view of the 42- storey Smith Tower and part of Seattle's business district south of Madison Street. Completed in 1910, it was built for Lyman Cornelius Smith, a firearms and typewriter magnate. It was the tallest building on the US west coast until the Space Needle was built in Seattle in 1962.
