Henrik Ibsen, Norwegian playwright and poet, late 19th or early 20th century. Ibsen (1828-1906) is often described as the father of modern theatre. His best known plays include "Peer Gynt" (1867), "A Doll's House" (1879), "Ghosts" (1881), "An Enemy of the People" (1882), "The Wild Duck" (1884) and "Hedda Gabler" (1890). Private collection.
