Stella Court Treatt and her monkey Kima, Dodoma to Mongalla, East Africa, 1925 (1927). A print from Cape to Cairo, by Stella Court Treatt, George G Harrap & Company Ltd, 1927. The book was an account of the first successful journey by motor vehicle from Cape Town to Cairo, accomplished by Stella Court Treatt and her husband, Major Chaplin Court Treatt, in 1924-1926. Stella (1895-1976) was given two grey monkeys, which she christened Kima and Bibi, while the expedition was near Victoria Falls.
