Max Schmeling, German boxer, 1938. Schmeling (1905-2005) was world heavyweight champion from 1930 until 1932. He is best remembered for his two fights against Joe Louis in the late 1930s. He won the first, but lost the second, which was for the world title. A Churchman's Cigarettes picture card.
