Marble pavilion in the Fort Gardens, Lahore, India, late 19th or early 20th century. Lahore Fort was built in the 1560s by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. The pavilion, which stands in the garden known as the Hazuri Bagh, was built in 1818 by the Sikh Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The upper of the two storeys of the structure was destroyed by a lightning strike in 1932. Lantern slide.
