Royal Albert Bridge, Saltash, Cornwall, late 19th or early 20th century. Isambard Kingdom Brunel built the Royal Albert Bridge to carry the Great Western Railway (GWR) over the River Tamar between Devon and Cornwall. Construction began in 1854 and the bridge was officially opened by Prince Albert in 1859. Lantern slide.
