Mr PF Warner, Middlesex and England cricketer, c1899. A right-handed batsman, Pelham 'Plum' Warner (1873-1963) played for Oxford University, Middlesex and England during a career lasting from 1894 until 1920. He scored 29,028 runs with 60 centuries. His 15 Test caps included 10 matches as captain, regaining the Ashes in Australia in 1903-1904. After retiring, Warner served as England's tour manager on the infamous 'Bodyline' tour of Australia in 1932-1933 and later went on to become President of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
