'Sreda' ('Wednesday'), Russian literary group, 1890s. Sreda was founded in 1899 by Nikolay Teleshov. It was named after the day on which they held their weekly meetings at Teleshov's house in Moscow. The group continued to meet until 1916. Found in the collection of the Institute of Russian Literature IRLI (Pushkin-House).
