Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Russian composer, 19th century. Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) wrote music across a broad range of genres. Amongst his best known and most popular works are the ballets 'Swan Lake', 'The Sleeping Beauty' and 'The Nutcracker', the '1812 Overture', his First Piano Concerto, his last three numbered symphonies, and the opera 'Eugene Onegin'. Found in the collection of the State PI Tchaikovsky Memorial Museum, Klin.
