The archaic west pediment of the temple of Artemis on Corfu, showing Medusa in the centre fleeing from Perseus. On the left side is Pegasus, and on the right is Chyrisppus, the man with the golden sword. On either side are panthers, acting as protection for the temple. In the Corfu Archaeological Museum.
