Fermin Valdes Domingues. Born in Havana in 1852. Published his famous book 'Havana Volunteers' in Madrid in 1873, documenting the events of medical students, one of them who was sentenced to six years in prison. The second edition appeared in 1887. He took part in the revolution in 1805. Became a Colonel and died in 1910. Cigar card from the History of Cuba, Geografico Universal, Propaganda de los Cigarros Susini y La Corona, Tabacalera Cubana.
