Battle of Jimaguaya . On May 11 1873, General Ignacio Agramonete was attacked in Jimaguayu, by Lieutenant Colonel Rodriguez de Leon who arrived with 700 men. A fierce battle broke out and General Agramonte was killed, his body was taken to Port-au-Prince.
