Hotels in St Helier, Jersey, c1907. Saint Helier is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands in the English Channel. This picture features the Southamton Hotel. Built in 1864 it was commandeered by the Germans in World War II. Taken from the 'Peacock Series of postcards, produced by the Pictorial Stationary Co., Ltd., London.
