'The Workshop of Konrad Seusenhofer', c17th century. Konrad Seusenhofer (died 1517) was a 16th-century Austrian armourer who worked for Maximilian I. In 1514 Maximilian I presented Henry VIII with a suit of armour which included the ‘Horned helmet’ or armet. This was later chosen as the symbol of the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
