Shot Tower, gates with sphinxes, and milk cart, 63 Belvedere Road, Lambeth, London, 1930. A man with a hand-drawn milk cart waits in front of a gateway with sphinxes on the posts, leading into a yard. Beyond is the Shot Tower, used for making lead shot by dropping molten lead into containers of liquid. It was used during the Festival of Britain to project messages to the Moon.
