'Members of the Expedition at Heston Airport, February, 17, 1933, just before leaving for India', c1933, (1935). The Westland Wallace was a British two-seat, general-purpose biplane of the Royal Air Force. On 3 April 1933, the two aircraft became the first to fly over Mount Everest, flying over Kangchenjunga on 4 April and making a second flight over Everest on 19 April 1933.
