Munitions production, Burnham on Crouch, Essex, September 1915. Seated men making rope handles for ammunition carriers. The Splicing Room at TT Nethercoat and Co, East Works, Burnham on Crouch. Nethercoat & Co were chandlers and sailmakers who during the First World War also made ammunition carriers and tents at their East Works and West Works.
