The ticket has been signed and dated by Jonathan Tyers the Elder (the younger). Jonathan Tyers the Elder (the Elder) (1702-1767) the proprietor of New Spring Gardens opened in 1661, later known as Vauxhall Gardens, a popular pleasure garden in Kennington, London.
