Interior view of the orangery designed by Thomas de Grey, 2nd Earl de Grey, showing a chimneypiece from the old house, sculpture and tiled floor. Exotic fruit and plants were protected from the British winter in the orangery. Wrest Park was built in 1834-1839, inspired by 18th-century French chateaux, and is set in over 90 acres of gardens.
