Interior, Kirby Hall, near Corby, Northamptonshire, 2012. View inside the south-west bedchamber on the ground floor of the south-west block looking towards the bay window. Kirby Hall was one of the finest houses built in the 17th century. Begun in 1570 by Sir Humphrey Stafford, it was completed by Sir Christopher Hatton, Lord Chancellor to Elizabeth I.
