Detail of the portico of Chiswick House, London, c2000s(?). View looking up at two of the Corinthian capitals and part of the pediment of the Palladian entrance portico. Chiswick House is a Palladian villa which was built in 1725-1729 for the Earl of Burlington (1694-1753). He used it to display his art collection and to entertain.
