Wartime memorial, West Smithfield, City of London, January 1917. A war memorial on the right of the gatehouse to the church of St Bartholomew the Great. The photograph was taken in 1917 for Sir Aston Webb who carried out restoration on the church in the late 19th century, but who also designed the war memorial. The sculptor was W S Frith.
