De Havilland DH89 aircraft used on some of the Railway Air Service routes, c1934 (c1937). Introduced in 1934, the De Havilland DH89 Dragon Rapide was a British short-haul biplane airliner for 6-8 passengers. It was operated by the Railway Air Services (RAS), who formed in March 1934 as a domestic airline operating routes within the United Kingdom linking up with Imperial Airways' services.
