'Shiremark Mill, Capel', 1912, (1914). Shiremark Mill, a listed Smock mill in Capel, Surrey. Shiremark Mill was built in 1774, incorporating material from a demolished open trestle post mill. The mill was offered for sale in 1777, described as ‘new built’ and in 1802 was acquired by the Stone family, who ran the mill until 1919.
