Arlington House, Westminster, London, c1700 (1878). Arlington House, originally known as Goring House, was situated in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. The first house was erected on the site in c1624. It was extended by Lord Goring in 1633 but later burned down. Arlington House was built in 1675 for Henry Bennet, 1st Earl of Arlington (1618-1685).
