The Tsars Winter Palace, Yalta, Russia, c1960. Livadia Palace was a summer retreat of the last Russian tsar, Nicholas II, and his family. The Yalta Conference was held here in 1945, when Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Stalin, Churchill and other members of the American delegation stayed. Today the palace houses a museum.
