GlastonburyTor and ancient Tithebarn in foreground, Somerset, 20th century. Glastonbury Tor is a hill in the English county of Somerset, topped by the roofless St Michael's Tower, a Grade I listed building. Tithe barns were used during the Middle Ages for storing rents and tithes in contribution to the church.
