Lulworth Cove Looking West to Dungy Head, Dorset, 20th century. Dungy Head is a coastal promontory west of Lulworth Cove on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, England. It is composed of Portland stone strata. Lulworth cove is one of the world's finest examples of such a landform, and a tourist attraction. The unique shape of the cove is a result of wave diffraction.
