Ofaerofoss Waterfall in Eldgja (Fire Gorge), Central Iceland, 20th century. Situated in Eldgja, the largest volcanic canyon in the world discovered by Porvaldur Thoroddsen in 1893. The northern part of Eldgja, including Ofaerofoss, and surrounding areas, have been a part of Vatnajokull National Park since 2011.
