Central Administration Pavilion, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, 1922. Founded in 1751 by Benjamin Franklin and Dr Thomas Bond, the Pennsylvania Hospital was the first hospital to be opened in the American colonies. The architect of the building was Samuel Rhoads.
