Window detail in Trinity Chapel, Canterbury Cathedralm, England, UK, 20th century. 13th century showing miracles ascribed to St. Thomas (story of Eilward of Westoning (c1220-1225) in Canterbury Cathedral, one of the oldest and most famous Christian structures in England. Eilward of Westoning, stole from his neighbor, to pay off his debts, and was brought before the magistrate and sentenced to blinding and mutilation. St. Thomas appears, makes the sign of the cross over his bed and restores Eilward's sight.
