Noah and Terah, late 12th century, Canterbury Cathedral, Kent, 20th century. Largely based on the list of names contained in the Gospel of St Luke with additional names from the Gospel of St Matthew, originally in the Choir, now in the South West transept of Canterbury Cathedral, when installed the stained glass figures were the largest known series of the genealogy of Christ in medieval art.
