The portrait shows Bergamo-native Micer Marsilio Cassoti and his wife, Faustina, at the time of their marriage. The significance is underlined by Cupid who, in the background, embraces the couple with laurel leaves. Oil on canvas. Held in the Museo del Prado, Madrid.
