Chiswick House, London, c1990-2010. View of the Gallery ceiling, the central oval depicting the Defence of Scutari. Chiswick House is a Palladian villa in Burlington Lane, Chiswick, west London, designed by Lord Burlington, and completed in 1729. Today the house is a Grade I listed building, and is maintained by English Heritage.
