Woodhenge, c25th century BC, (c1990-2010). Reconstruction drawing showing the freestanding posts and lintels in c2400 BC. Neolithic Class II henge and timber circle monument site close to Stonehenge. Probably built about 2300 BC, it was originally believed to be the remains of a large burial mound.
