'The Coronation Ceremony in the Abbey: The Queen's Procession', 1937. Crowned and Bearing the Emblems of Her Dignity, The Queen processing to the west door of the Abbey for the return to Buckingham Palace. King George ascended the throne upon the abdication of his brother, King Edward VIII, on 11th December 1936.
