Lacock Abbey, Wiltshire, 2015. Lacock Abbey was founded as a house for Augustinian canonesses. Following the Dissolution of the Monasteries it was bought by Sir William Sharington who converted it into a house. Lacock Abbey is famous for its association with photography pioneer William Fox Talbot.
